Psalm 75:6 – For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. It is God who judges: He brings one down, He exalts another.
Psalm 75:7 It is God alone who judges; he decides who will rise and who will fall. God promotes and He is the one who demotes. He is the ultimate power source of ALL. He exalts and He brings down.
God knows what we are made of. For man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.
It is God who wants to lead His children in the pathway of righteousness and promotion that is done his way according to His will for our lives. God has a purpose and destiny for our lives and He wants us to enter into it.

Truth be told. You went through something. Now, let us examine spiritual promotion this way. When God promotes you, whether you’re next to a palace or a desert, God will always promote in you in His timing. He knows the season for every spiritual promotion He wants to give you. Spiritual Promotion will always come from God. Mere men can’t stop you or give it to you. God gets the recognition and everyone will know it came from God, and not man. You won’t get the opportunity to call tell someone first. They’ll call you.
Every time God is preparing you for spiritual promotion. He gives you a valley experience first. This is the hard part. God wants to make sure you’re ready. It’s just like your boss. You boss or the company may watch for years before you’re ever offered a new position. Nonetheless, you stick with it until your change comes.

Some men heard Daniel making petitions before God daily and went back and told the king. See! Jealousy is as cruel as the grave. The king and the men tried to make a public mockery of Daniel. He was put into the lion’s den. It doesn’t look like God is spiritually promoting Daniel.

The first step to your spiritual promotion is realizing it may not look like God is not promoting you. This is hard to understand. However, the place God is leading you. No man can promote you there. You have to go through experience after experience to help you learn and know that God is preparing you for something greater.
Your destiny. Once you realize what seems like a demotion is always going to be a spiritual promotion.
Your next step is not to complain, but have confidence, God is preparing you for greater. God is simply ushering in new lessons, responsibilities, and challenges to prepare you for the next greater promotion. That promotion is whatever you have asked God for. [Hopefully, you have them written down somewhere.] It’s just like your natural job. You won’t be promoted until your supervisor knows you can perform at an advanced level. It’s the same with God. You don’t get spiritually promoted until you go through the fire and water. Then, God brings you into that wealth place.
Your third step is to be toward your spiritual promotion. Is to have a teachable spirit. You have to be open to hear the voice of God and other godly mentors that have been placed in your life. The big mistake is to isolate yourself during this tough season.
You should always be willing to learn. Stay open to new ideas and new ways of doing things. You’ll need those ideas and new ways for your next level of living. If others are critical of you, don’t get defensive — take the opportunity to do a self-evaluation and use it to motivate yourself to grow and improve. You’re not perfect. You may be sensitive.
In conclusion, the end lesson for every phase is simply the same. It’s to draw you into a deeper intimacy and reliance on God. As the challenges and lessons get harder, it will refine your walk with God in ways you didn’t have at first. At that moment, spiritual promotion is taking place. You will be rewarded for passing the test and handling yourself with grace and holiness.
Let consistency become your crown. It’ll be very important for your entire journey. Without it, you will stop along the way before you reach your destiny.
After you’re spiritually promoted, your journey is not complete. You will be tasked with leading and encouraging others to remain faithful to their promotion. Therein lies your true prosperity. Helping others arrive where you are or where you are going to your next upward level.
