A Prayer for Your Family
Lord, bless my family and children. Give them hearts that follow after you. Give my family the strength to not be afraid to walk in spiritual restoration. Give them the courage to stand up for what is right. Produce within them an attitude of integrity, giving their lives to you daily that you may get the glory. Protect my family under the shadow of your wings. Lord, help us to find our strength in you. When we feel discouraged, increase our unity and peace as we seek to follow after you. Amen

How Are You Feeling About Your Family?
Whether you're tired of feeling chaotic and overwhelmed, struggling with consistency emotionally, tired of wasting too much time on social media... [That can be draining], being affected by the negativity in every direction you turn, yelling at your kids, over-eating, being stuck financially, or a thousand other things...
Whatever it is! Most of us have something we'd like to change in our lives... something that nags us... even keeps us up at night. We know that feeling all to well.

Allow God Daily To Work In You:
Think of the first thing you do in the morning when you wake up.
For me, my hand scatters to find my phone on my nightstand. I stop Spotify and instantly check my notifications. My feet haven’t even hit the ground yet and I’m scrolling through my social media feeds.
Then when I do actually get out of bed, I rush to get ready and start handling business as usual. I've gotten up to speed on the latest gossip and news, but haven't heard from God… "Oh well, I’ll get to it later.”
Then, I suddenly remember that I haven’t spent time with God. I feel guilty. I push it off until later. I just don’t do it. Before I know it, one day turns into seven, and the only times I find my bible open is on Sundays.
Am I the only one guilty of this behavior?
Not anymore... I learned the hard way.
The Bible says “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matt. 6:21, NIV). If you want to see where a person’s heart is, look at their bank statement and you will see what they treasure. In the same way, if you want to see where a person’s heart is, look at how they spend their time.
We spend time on the things we care about most.
Time is a currency. You can’t make more time in a day, you spend time. We have to schedule time for our priorities.
Recognizing God's daily work in your family's life is simply unparalleled because you will be obedient and watch the POWER of God.
